The Express Yourself singer, 61, was to start a 15-night run of gigs at The London Palladium tonight but has been ordered to rest by doctors.
She said that her next show on Wednesday January 29 will go on as scheduled, and that "anyone who purchased a ticket will be refunded for tickets purchased that evening".
"I am deeply sorry that I have to cancel my concert scheduled for Monday 27 January in London", she said.
Just last week, the popular singer posted a video on her Instagram that documents how she warms up for a show with an injury with knee braces (see above). "The last thing I want to do is disappoint my fans or compromise the integrity of my show", she wrote. So I will keep going until I can't.
Back in December, Madonna also canceled a tour stop in Miami, citing "indescribable pain" from an undisclosed injury.
