HBO series "Watchmen" aired its final episode last month and it's unlikely to air another season.
It is a pity that what was an exciting series had to come to an end so soon, but, it is better for a story to come to its proper end rather than dragged out unnecessarily or get turned into a second season just for the sake of it.
'We're very proud of Watchmen, but what I'm most interested in what Damon wants to do, ' Bloys said.
Say goodbye to HBO's Watchmen series as creator Damon Lindelof has bailed from the show, which more than likely means a Season 2 will never happen. "It is so much from his brain - obviously I know there was the underlying IP - but the reinvention and the world is so much from his brain that it's hard to imagine somebody else doing it". "If there's an idea that excited him about another season, another instalment, maybe like a Fargo, True Detective [anthology] take on it, or if he wants to do something different altogether". And their positions are that Bloys is down, just as long as Lindelof is down. He explained, "I think Damon did a brilliant job".
Girl’s plea for help on California highway was hoax
On the California Highway Patrol Facebook page, many people have called for charges or fines on both the mom and the child. The officers finally located the vehicle on Highway 99 near 8 Mile Road in Stockton and made a "high risk" stop.
Disney Drops Fox, Rebrands 20th Century Studios & Searchlight Studios
Discussions about a possible name change are underway, but no consensus has emerged, according to a source close to the situation. These moves are not entirely shocking: Rupert Murdoch's company is still called Fox Corporation.
Reference to New 'Pro Mode' Found in Latest macOS Beta
There's some indication that Apple could be prepping a 13-inch MacBook Pro refresh, which might also use the capability. It is the type of mode that you probably want to use more on AC power than if you were running on battery.
"Maybe that idea is going to come from someone else", Lindelof said of further seasons. "There is no guarantee of if and when that'll happen". And considering HBO executive Casey Bloys recently told USA Today the second season was entirely in Lindelof's hands, and "it would be hard to imagine doing it without Damon involved in some way", the future doesn't look too bright.
The news of Watchmen not moving forward isn't a big surprise as live viewings for the show haven't been all that good and the series hasn't been liked by a lot of fans who aren't happy with Lindelof's SJW politically correct motivated approach to the series.
Normally this wouldn't deter a network from continuing on with a successful show, and Lindelof even gave HBO his blessing to make more Watchmen, but nope.
