William Hill is already working with the management of BoyleSports to begin the transfer process of the shops and their 220 staff members.
The financial terms of the agreement have not been disclosed. The Sunday Times estimates the deal is worth between €12m ($13.34m) and €18m ($20m).
William Hill has entered multiple states since a federal ban on sports betting was annulled in the spring of 2018, seeking to cement itself as one of the leaders in the provision of wagering products in the nascent USA market. Bruce has previously warned about the implications of the increased betting tax.

BoyleSports said the recent transactions were the result of its plan to concentrate its efforts on increasing its activities outside of the Republic of Ireland due to the government's decision to double the duties for betting.
William Hill has bounced back somewhat from its extensive betting shop closures in the early half of 2019.
The gambling giant said this helped to boost its retail division and increase total group profits.
The profit outturn was "quite a material beat", said broker Peel Hunt, but as it is a function of favourable sporting results the analysts were not changing their 2020 forecasts at this stage.
