Xiaomi is all set to unveil its new smartphone - the Redmi K30 - under its flagship killer series. The Redmi K30 is expected to feature a 64 MP quad rear camera setup and is likely to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset that Qualcomm announced at the Snapdragon Summit in Hawaii recently. Redmi has been touting the camera's of the K30 capabilities on its official Weibo page as well. The circular camera patch, however, boasts a glossy finish. Both the front and back of the device is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The panel operates at full-HD+ (1080×2400 pixels) resolution. There's a 20MP primary sensor and a secondary depth sensor baked into the punch-hole on board. The Redmi K20 came with a 6.39-inch notchless, bezelless AMOLED display, but it was 60Hz. It also uses a side fingerprint sensor.
As you may already know, Snapdragon 765G chipset runs the show under the hood. The 5G variant is powered by the 7nm Snapdragon 765G SoC, whereas the 4G variant is powered by the Snapdragon 730G processor. It comes with dual-mode SA/ NSA, mmWave, TDD/ FDD, sub-6 GHz frequency bands support. The brand has also made a decision to launch the phone locally, with it likely being the last launch by the company for the year. It's similar to the "Dual Channel Network Allocation" feature on ColorOS-backed phones. This price is for the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage model.
The Redmi K30 will also include an ultra-wide camera, likely to be either 8MP or 12MP in size with 120-degrees viewing angle supported. It includes all essential connectivity options including Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, dual-frequency Global Positioning System, 3.5mm headphone jack with Hi-Res Audio support, and a Type-C charging port.

In China, the handset will be available for purchase in four colors.
