Serial sex attacker Joseph McCann has been sentenced to life behind bars after carrying out a series of brutal sex attacks on women and children.
At Monday's hearing, Judge Andrew Edis called McCann "a coward, a violent bully and a pedophile" who'd carried out a campaign of rape, violence and abduction on a level he'd never seen or heard of before.
On Friday, the jury deliberated for five hours to find him guilty of 37 charges relating to 11 victims, including eight rapes, false imprisonment and kidnap.
In spring this year the 34-year-old embarked on a 15-day cocaine and vodka-fuelled rampage in which he abducted, raped and assaulted victims aged between 11 and 71.
McCann was released early by mistake and there are calls for a full investigation into how it happened.
In a victim impact statement, the 25-year-old woman who was subjected to a 14-hour ordeal spoke about how she deeply traumatised she is.
He then took another young woman hours later.
McCann's attacks began on April 21, when he kidnapped a 21-year-old woman at knife point in Watford, north of London.
After that, he detained a woman in her house in northern England and sexually molested her kids, aged 11 and 17, before attacking a 71-year-old woman getting into her vehicle and raping her.

He said what the trial did show is that "ExxonMobil has a culture of disciplined analysis, planning, accounting and reporting". The office argued how the company planned for the costs were of interest to investors.
Two of his victims managed to escape after one of them hit him over the head with a bottle of vodka, while another jumped out of a first-floor window, running to get help to save her mother and brother who were both trapped in their house with McCann.
Once inside, he tied her to a bed and molested her 11-year-old son and 17-year-old daughter, telling them: "You are going to Europe tomorrow - you are mine". He raped her, and abducted and assaulted a 13-year-old girl in her vehicle, before they got away.
McCann was eventually tracked down in Cheshire after trying to flee from police in a auto and a stolen bicycle.
He was captured on CCTV buying condoms at a service station before he was spotted by a patrol vehicle, which began to chase him.
However, he was spotted by a patrol auto, which gave chase - McCann crashed into a Mercedes and fled on foot, leaving the "terrified" girls behind.
After crashing his auto when a patrol vehicle gave chase, a police helicopter finally located him up a tree. He was finally caught by police as he hid up a tree. He kidnapped seven people during the spree.
McCann should have been recalled to prison indefinitely after he committed a burglary while on licence for a offence he committed in 2008, after threatening to stab a pensioner as he raided his home.
Four men and two women have been arrested on suspicion of assisting McCann, and released under investigation. He is a risky man who has shown no remorse for his cruel and sickening actions. "Our hope is that the victims in this case, all of whom have shown huge bravery, are now able to move on with their lives following these truly horrendous crimes".
