Unfortunately, if the steps above suggested by Apple don't solve the shutdown issue for you, the next step listed is - you guessed it - to contact Apple. The second issue is to do with display ghosting - an issue that stem from a slow response time from the screen, resulting in what's known as a "ghosting" effect when scrolling through text.
Several users have taken to the MacRumors forum to report the issue in an attempt to find a solution since there's no official word from Apple yet whether this is a bug or not. Interesting, there are people who don't seem to be bothered by the issue. The leaked Apple memo indicates the noise can be fixed using a software update. Do not set up service, or replace the user's computer, as this is a software-related issue. The document includes instructions on how to proceed if a customer reports 'a popping sound when playback is stopped on their MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019)'. Under the circumstances Apple could offer a free fix for the affected devices. In any case, we will have to wait and see how Apple decides to react to this situation.
