Just a day after the deadly shooting at Saugus High School in Santa Clarita, CA, the shooter - 16-year-old Nathaniel Berhow - has succumbed to a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Officials said the attack reportedly lasted about 16 seconds from beginning to end.
The dead were identified as 15-year-old Gracie Anne Muehlberger and 14-year-old Dominic Blackwell.
Early on Friday, two girls aged 14 and 15 were being treated at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, California and were listed in good and fair condition, a hospital spokeswoman said.
At the Henry Mayo Hospital in Santa Clarita, authorities said a 14-year-old boy was treated and released.
Kenino said investigators are trying to determine the origin of the.45 semi-automatic pistol used in the shooting. He said no manifesto or suicide note had been found.
