Just in the day one of Overwatch on Nintendo Switch, Blizzard has chose to cancel the launch event of the famous video game, scheduled for tomorrow in New York, as announced by the official account of Nintendo NY with a post on Twitter. If Blizzard do turn to censoring their own event in two weeks, it will be obvious that Nintendo rightfully acted the way they did on Twitter.
Blizzard has not responded to a request for comment from Ars Technica (Nintendo simply referred our request back to Blizzard).
The Nintendo Switch port of Overwatch is out tomorrow, Tuesday 15th October, and you can now grab it for just over twenty quid over at CD Keys.
