Cr Glasgow told The Courier-Mail he had done nothing wrong, insisting his behaviour was appropriate and that he had not brought the council into disrepute, nor breached the code of conduct.
In response to Cr Wellington's r ecommendation for Cr Glasgow to resign, he said the mayor was just "doing his job".
"It was just incredibly misogynistic, crude, and highly offensive behaviour that was being displayed by Councillor Glasgow on the show", he told ABC Sunshine Coast.
'I'm pretty time poor so I chose to go on TV and went into the experience with an open heart, ' he said.
