With the last couple Resident Evil games returning to their roots in survival horror, it did at first seem unusual that Capcom would opt to make the next Resident Evil game multiplayer-centric as the multiplayer Resident Evil games usually lack the intensity and fear the single-player Resident Evil games bring with it. Project Resistance is yet to confirm a release date, but will be playable on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. But while those games only allowed players to play in teams of two, Capcom has announced a game that allowed four-man teams.
When it comes to Resident Evil team based spin-off's you get a really mixed bag when it comes to quality. In the far past it's worked out wonderfully, with games like Outbreak, and its follow-up. The trailer ends with Mr. Numbered tickets to play Project Resistance will be handed out to TGS attendees on a first-come-first-served basis in the morning.

As for everything else shown off in the minutes-long spectacle, there's certainly an air of Left 4 Dead present here. Stay tuned, Resident Evil fans. With the Tokyo Game Show only days away, we're sure Capcom will have plenty more to reveal about this upcoming horror game.
