Israel declared it would deny entry to Representatives Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar just hours after President Trump urged the Israeli government to exclude the two women who represent the American people in Congress. After Israel granted her request "on humanitarian grounds", Tlaib reversed her position and said she would not travel "under these oppressive conditions meant to humiliate me..."
"When I won (in 2018), it gave the Palestinian people hope that someone will finally speak the truth about the inhumane conditions". So when Trump tweets he doesn't want to see Israel letting these congresswomen in, Netanyahu doesn't.
Trump responded Friday, Aug. 16, saying Israel's offer was "very respectful & nice" and acted appropriately via Twitter, noting that he believed Tlaib was grandstanding after being granted permission to visit.
Tlaib says a letter from Israeli officials laid out what she could say and who she could talk to while in the country. "In addition, the organization that is funding their trip is Miftah, which is an avid supporter of BDS, and among whose members are those who have expressed support for terrorism against Israel". "I will respect any restrictions and will not promote boycotts against Israel during my visit", she initially wrote. Tlaib paid tribute to her grandmother in a social media post, calling her "my sity" and denouncing the move as "sign of weakness".
He said: 'She was going to slaughter a sheep when Rashida arrived and prepare her favorite food, stuffed vine leave.

Antonio Brown helmet issue: Raiders GM calls out wide receiver
Brown has threatened to sit out if he doesn't get to wear the Schutt AiR Advantage helmet he has worn his entire career. Mayock said Brown's unhappy about the helmet, not that his feet are preventing him from being on the field.
"Congresswomen Tlaib and Omar are Hamas supporting political warfare advocates whose backing for the anti-Semitic global BDS crusade underscores their desire to dismantle Israel as a Jewish and democratic state", Diker suggests, adding that "the United States recently denied entry to Tlaib and Omar's fellow traveller, BDS founder Omar Barghouti". On the left, M.J. Rosenberg, a longtime critic of Israel, declared in the Nation "Netanyahu has made clear that the State of Israel seems to be part of Donald Trump's far-flung empire, a place where streets and town squares are named in honor of a president whom American Jews despise".
Asked about Trump's attacks on her granddaughter, Tlaib's grandmother said, "I don't know him".
Some Palestinians criticized Tlaib (D-Mich.) for writing a letter to Interior Minister Aryeh Deri requesting permission to visit her relatives in the village of Beit Ur al-Fauqa, west of Ramallah. The only real victor here is Tlaib's grandmother. The alleged attacker's vehicle, which bore Israeli license plates which allow greater freedom of movement in both Israel and the West Bank, was overturned by the roadside. "And this is a movement that the two legislators have at least tacitly if not overtly supported".
The two members of Congress are outspoken critics of Israel's treatment of the Palestinians and have repeatedly clashed with Trump. Trump's acceptance of Israel's annexation of the Golan Heights, which it seized from Syria in the 1967 war, provided a boost to Netanyahu ahead of April's elections. In a letter to Deri, the MI congresswoman stated the importance of visiting her aging grandmother and pledged not to promote any boycotts against Israel during her trip.
