RCMP said the two teens are suspects in the death of Australian Lucas Fowler and his American girlfriend, Chynna Deese, after their bodies were discovered on the side of a remote portion of the Alaska Highway.
"This is the damaged aluminium boat found by #rcmpmb officers on the shores of the Nelson River during a helicopter search on Friday afternoon", police said in the statement.

The dive team is made up of highly-trained members who will use "advanced equipment", according to a police press release.
The move comes a few days after the RCMP announced they were winding down their search in the area following more than a week of searching there for Bryer Schmegelsky, 18, and Kam McLeod, 19.
The paper quoted RCMP Inspector Leon Fiedler as saying it was not clear whether the boat was used by the two suspects. Some experts have speculated that they may be dead.

Earlier this week, police received a tip that two young men who resembled McLeod and Schmegelsky were spotted in a vehicle in northern Ontario. They arrived in Gillam on Saturday, August 3rd, and did some underwater searches on Sunday.
