Police in the U.S. state of OH have arrested a man they believe threatened to carry out a shooting at a Jewish community centre.
On Friday, the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force raided Reardon's house and seized a cache of weapons and ammunition, including dozens of round of ammo, multiple semi-automatic weapons, a gas mask and bulletproof armor.
Police in OH arrested a white nationalist for allegedly threatening to shoot up a Jewish community center in an Instagram video - and seized an arsenal of weapons from his parent's home that included two AR-15 style rifles, bulletproof armor and a ton of ammunition.
Officials said police were notified on Friday about a video posted online by Reardon where he identifies himself as the shooter.
New Middletown Police Chief Vince D'Egidio said they believed Seamus O'Reardon was a pseudonym for James Reardon.
"That kicked off an intense investigation, a very rapidly evolving investigation because of the way the world is", D'Egidio said.
An investigation determined the account belonged to Reardon, police said. "Security has become a vital part of the mission of the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation, a mission from which we will never waver".
New Middletown police contacted the community center, Youngstown police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation to make them aware of the threat.

Reardon has publicly stated before that he wanted to see a homeland established for white people, D'Egidio told WYTV.
Reardon was at the 2017 white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, VA, where a neo-Nazi drove into a crowd of protesters, killing a 32-year-old woman and injuring scores of others.
Youngstown is also about 65 miles north of Pittsburgh, where a gunman targeted and killed 11 worshipers in a synagogue last October.
Reardon is in the Mahoning County jail and set to appear in Struthers Municipal Court on Monday morning.
It's unclear if he has an attorney in the matter. Shortly after, leaders of three area synagogues - Temple El Emeth in Liberty, Congregation Rodef Shalom in Youngstown and Ohev Tzedek-Shaarei Torah in Boardman - were briefed about arrangements to provide additional security at the JCC and their locations, according to a statement the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation released Saturday.
"I want to stress that we know of no other threat to the Jewish Community or to any of our agencies at this point it time", he said in a statement posted on the organization's website.
"The positive result here is a clear example of the importance of monitoring social media to identify credible, hate-fueled threats before they are acted on", he added.
