Atef Tarawneh, the speaker of Jordan's House of Representatives, reportedly called on the government to relay a message to Israel that "peace is threatened in light of its continued aggression against Jerusalem and al-Aqsa Mosque".
As part of an arrangement in place since the 1967 Six Day War, when Israel captured the Old City and East Jerusalem from Jordan, non-Muslims are barred from praying at the Temple Mount, which is the holiest site in Judaism and third holiest in Islam.
The lawmakers also called for the Israel-Jordan peace treaty to be nullified and for the USA ambassador to Jordan to be summoned over the Trump administration's support for Israel.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates summoned on Sunday, August 18, 2019, the Israeli Ambassador in Amman in order to confirm Jordan's condemnation and rejection of the Israeli violations against Al-Aqsa Mosque and to demand an immediate end to the absurd and provocative practices in Al-Haram Al-Sharif that constitute a clear violation of the worldwide law.
The call is non-binding, but may reflect the broader mood in Amman coming just a day after Jordanian diplomatic officials dressed down Israel's envoy Amir Weissbrod over the recent violence on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
He noted that the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian government are in close coordination with Jordan over the latest developments at the holy religious site. "These violations & others seeking to change status quo in Holy Sites violate Int'l law, deepen tensions..." "We condemn the Israeli occupation authorities' provocative practices and ongoing violation of global law, as well as their attempts [to] change the historical and legal situation in occupied Jerusalem and its holy sites". "[The] global community can not remain silent on these violations".

This company provides "perfect replicas" of iOS, and Apple is suing them
Williamson, the Project Zero researcher, said that "somebody could make a ideal spyware" in the wake of the accidental unpatching. Whenever a vulnerability that allows a jailbreak to work is discovered, Apple generally fixes the bug in its next iOS update.
Trump administration considers moves to bolster economy
Trade wars are not easy to win, and Trump's lack of understanding of the global economy is harming Americans and people worldwide. White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow fields questions from reporters outside of the White House.
Last week, Israel's Minister of Public Security Gilad Erdan told a radio station that the country should work toward Jews being allowed to pray at the holy site.
Jews are allowed to visit the site but not to pray there.
Jordanian Foreign Ministry spokesman Sufyan Al-Qudah "expressed the Kingdom's absolute rejection of such statements, warning of the consequences of any attempt to prejudice the historical and legal status quo and the serious consequences thereof".
Israeli policy at the site has always been to uphold the Jordanian stewardship there, and to allow only Muslim worship on the Mount, though Jews and others may visit.
In an interview with the Jordanian newspaper Al-Ghad after the meeting, Saud said MPs had also agreed to hold a sit-in at the Allenby Bridge, which straddles the border between Jordan and the West Bank, this coming Friday.
Apart from the city of Jericho, which is in Area A and therefore under the PA's security and administrative control, most of the land in the Jordan Valley is designated as Area C, which is under full Israeli control. Habbash warned that the Palestinians "will never allow the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque to be harmed" and will resist any attempt to change the status quo at the holy site.
