In brief: The Facebook page says participants will meet up at the Area 51 Alien Center tourist attraction in the wee hours of September 20 to coordinate entry into the secret government facility.
Thousands have commented on the page, which reads: "We can move faster than their bullets".
"P.S. Hello.U.S. government, this is a joke, and I do not actually intend to go ahead with this plan". Back in 2016, a television crew filming for the BBC show "Conspiracy Road Trip" were arrested at gunpoint for approaching Area 51.
Thanks to the various factors that come into play with Area 51 memes, there is a rich depth to them.
Followers insist it is where captured UFOs, alien body parts and technology are stored by the U.S. government. That was 30 years ago. I do not support this "movement". The New York Times have reported that the United States airforce have issued an official statement. The CIA has since published information about test flights that took place there, and the alien aspects in many of those theories have been debunked.
"What is good, is the interest in the subject - the science and technology". We're going to live stream the "event" here at #AREA15 to watch what goes down.
Judging by the number of people joining the craziest plan to have gained popularity on Facebook, we'll have hoards of people showing up at a certain US Air Force's base in Nevada.

"That base is so jealously guarded, both in terms of media and in terms of actual physicality".
Nigel Watson author of the UFO Investigations Manual, says, 'Area 51 has always been a magnet for those who believe the US Government knows a lot more about UFOs than they are prepared to reveal to the public.
The Nevada Test and Training Range "provides the warfighter a flexible, realistic and multidimensional battle-space to conduct testing tactics development, and advanced training in support of USA national interests", the Air Force states on its website.
However, the USA government did not even admit the base existed until 2013, in a series of documents released as part of a Freedom of Information request, and it is heavily protected by armed guards.
The base's current primary goal is publicly unknown; however, based on historical evidence, it most likely supports the development and testing of experimental aircraft and weapons systems (black projects).
