Avatar had been the highest-grossing film of all time since 2009, where it raked in a worldwide gross of USD 2.78 billion and became the first movie to make over two billion dollars at the box office.
This time it has done what no other movie could over the past decade.
After a brief recap of the Infinity Saga, Feige kicked things off by revealing the news that the studio had been desperate to announce, telling the fans that "within a few days, Avengers: Endgame will be the biggest movie of all time". Following Avengers: Endgame, Marvel's latest offering was Spiderman: Far From Home that released in June.
But "Avatar" will have a chance to take back its box office crown from "Endgame".

Avengers: EndGame has, however, not beaten Star Wars: The Force Awakens to be the highest-grossing movie in North America.
Plus, at the end of the day, Disney now owns 20th Century Fox, who distributed the original Avatar and would have distributed the sequels.
