The affected people are being examined by medical personnel, an Air Canada spokesperson told the channel. "You drop usually a couple dozen feet or more and if you've been in the airplane standing, or serving food, you may get injuries to your neck, etc. because you're not in your seat belt".
Medical crews were on the ground when the plane landed to check on the 269 passengers and 15 crew members on board.
