According to the IMD, the cyclone is likely to move almost northwards and cross Gujarat coast between Porbandar and Mahuva around Veraval & Diu region as a Severe Cyclonic Storm with wind speed 110-120 kmph gusting to 135 kmph during early morning of June 13, 2019.

The western parts of Saurashtra and Kutch region in Gujarat are likely to witness "heavy to very heavy rains" between June 12 and June 14.
Sarkar said the severe cyclonic storm is likely to cause heavy rains and winds in the coastal districts of Saurashtra, like Bhavnagar, Amreli, Junagadh, Jamangar, Porbandar, Dwarka and also Kutch.
Cyclonic Storm Vayu which formed over the Southeast Arabian Sea has moved northwards. The storm is also expected to pack winds up to 135 kilometres per hour on Thursday.

While the interiors may not see heavy showers, the coastal regions need to be on high alert as Vayu is expected to cause hefty showers over these areas. But as it got late to arrive in Kerala this year, it is expected to be delayed by a week in Gujarat.
