United States rapper Cardi B has been formally charged with assault, relating to a fight at a New York City strip club. The outlet says the indictment for the case won't be unsealed until Tuesday afternoon. Other charges reportedly included misdemeanor reckless endangerment, assault, criminal solicitation, conspiracy and harassment.
The two heavy counts are for felony attempted assault with intent to cause serious physical injury.

Cardi was arrested on October 1 after two female bartenders accused her of igniting a brawl where furniture, hookah pipes and bottles were thrown, resulting in multiple injuries. The two have since agreed to stay positive after a fight broke out between both of their camps during New York Fashion Week in September.

As prosecutors explained to the media outlet, they made a decision to bring the matter to the grand jury after discovering new information during the course of their investigation, though they "would not be specific".
Cardi was in court in April where she rejected a plea deal in the case that would have called for Cardi to plead guilty to misdemeanor assault in the third degree. She hit up the AASCAP Rhythm and Soul Music Awards in Beverly Hills with Offset last night, where she won the award for Songwriter of the Year.
