The Journal's Richard Martineau, with a headline "The real Justin Trudeau", dug in the deepest.
"It just portrays an enormous amount of arrogance to believe that you can say that to the chief of staff of the attorney general of Canada and not worry about the consequences".
What does the former attorney general say?
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is making longtime MP Lawrence MacAulay his new veterans-affairs minister to fill the void left by the resignation of Jody Wilson-Raybould as part of a minor cabinet shuffle this morning.
She testified to the House of Commons Justice Committee yesterday that members of the Prime Minister's Office, the Privy Council and the finance minister's office were pressuring to find a "solution" to head off the prosecution of the Montreal-based company.
"I think we have two matters here".
Now, for the second time in six weeks, Trudeau's ministers will be on the move again.
"Having regard to the uncertainty regarding a remediation agreement, in December 2018 the board of directors of SNC-Lavalin established a special committee to consider options that would protect value for SNC-Lavalin stakeholders".
Ms Wilson-Raybould said she had confronted Mr Trudeau in September over what she said were persistent efforts by officials to help SNC-Lavalin evade trial on charges of bribing Libyan officials. It tried to avoid prosecution and a trial, instead wanting to settle the case with a fine.
"A prime minister who allows his partisan, political motivations to overrule his duty to uphold the rule of law". He won a majority government in 2014 on a platform of transparency, gender equality and a commitment to reconciliation with Canada's indigenous peoples.
ATP roundup: Federer one win from 100th title
Stefanos Tsitsipas and Roger Federer met earlier in the season at the Australian Open where Tsitsipas won in 4 sets. I think I was up a break, and I didn't serve that good at the start of the second set.

Top Seed Nishikori Loses in Dubai, Federer Advances
Nishikori was eliminated 7-5, 5-7, 6-2 by Poland's Hubert Hurkacz , who earned his first-ever victory over a player in the top 10. Fernando Verdasco , ranked just one place below Kohlschreiber at No32, would attempt to score his first win in seven attempts.
"Where they became very clearly inappropriate was when political issues came up, like the election in Quebec, like losing the election were SNC to move its headquarters".
The scandal has rocked the Trudeau administration as the Liberal party leader prepares to run for re-election in October. SNC-Lavalin is a major employer in Quebec, with about 3,400 employees in the province, 9,000 employees in Canada and more than 50,000 worldwide. When they lose, they lose badly.
National Chief Perry Bellegarde of the Assembly of First Nations said he was "elated" to watch Wilson-Raybould sworn into cabinet in 2015 and felt her testimony Wednesday was a show of integrity, strength and courage. He also repeated that both him and his office were appropriate in all their dealings with Wilson-Raybould and her office, and that he disagreed with her version of events.
What could the fallout be?
Many speculate that other top officials that Wilson-Raybould named may follow.
Trudeau did say he was open to an investigation by the ethics commissioner, but Motz says that isn't enough.
In her testimony, Wilson-Raybould said she had faced "intense political pressure and even veiled threats relating to the SC-Lavalin case affairs".
But the real question is what this could mean for Trudeau and his election in the fall.
Calling on Royal Canadian Mounted Police to immediately launch an investigation into the claims against members of the Trudeau administration if it has not done so already, Scheer said he believes that Trudeau has "lost the moral authority to govern" in the wake of the allegations leveled against his government.
"The Liberals have fallen in the polls since this story emerged and today's testimony is likely to make things worse for them, at least in the short run".
