There was no shortage of feedback following the Pennzoil 400 on Sunday at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. This was the first race with the complete version of the 2019 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.
Despite battling with stage one victor Kevin Harvick at the start of the final segment, Atlanta race-winner Keselowski emerged as Logano's chief challenger in the latter stages of the race.
Regarding a night race, Martinsville President Clay Campbell said last summer, "We would love to swap dates with somebody, but the question is who wants to give up a date and give it to us?" "And then our pit strategist was saying if we stay long on the second stage, then we can stay out".
A week ago, Keselowski won at Atlanta Motor Speedway in his Ford Mustang in the debut of the new rules package, which features big rear-deck spoilers and engines fitted with power draining taped spacers.
"And we had to come from the back, and I think we passed the most cars today, so I think we were the most impressive today, but doesn't matter because we don't have a trophy".
Logano barely managed to block Keselowski's move, and the defending NASCAR Cup Series champion hung on for his first win in his title defense season.

Key transport hubs in the British capital have been urged to be vigilant for other possible devices. "No arrests have been made". A second device was discovered in a post room at the Waterloo station around 11:40 a.m., and the area was cordoned off.
Protesters rally at Algerian embassy over president's re-election bid

John Bolton claims North Korea summit was not a failure
But Bolton maintained Sunday that Trump is "not desperate for a deal - not with North Korea, not with anybody - if it's contrary to American national interests".
"It was a good battle", Keselowski said. "So, good day for our Chevy, I think we might be top Chevy again". Logano, who finished fourth at Daytona, had never won a Cup race at Vegas in 11 tries during his first 10 full-time seasons, although he won an Xfinity Series race at the track in 2017.
"The second half of the race, it's happened to us two weeks in a row", Harvick said. Brad and I were so evenly matched, and you just can't drive away (with the lead). Brad was catching me so quick and I got stuck behind a lapped vehicle and I was like, oh no. Man, it was so close. Meanwhile, hometown favorite Kyle Busch finished in third after suffering a penalty for going too fast on pit road.
By running an off-set strategy, Busch was able to make the most of an incident-free race, to climb from 28th on the grid to take fifth place. He won the Xfinity and Truck Series races and a win on Sunday would have given him his third sweep of three national series races in a single weekend.
"I didn't keep myself in the game, I just knew to keep fighting and just keep working", said Busch.
Harvick led the first 44 laps as he easily distanced himself from the field; by green flag stops on lap 44, he held an advantage over second place of over five seconds.
Through majority of the race, Busch understood that his No. 1 team from Chip Ganassi Racing had their work cut out for them. "You certainly saw that in the last stage - a 100-lap green flag run with no cautions, top four within 2.5 seconds". From there, he cruised to an easy Stage 1 victory. They were also the winners of the two 80-lap stages that made up the first 160 laps of the race, with Harvick winning the first stage and Logano the second. "We'll take this one and head to Phoenix".
