Fox Sports announced its new four-person panel for the pregame show, which reads like a who's who of college football in the past 15 years. Now Meyer has formally signed on to team up with Bush, a longtime National Football League running back who had a legendary career at USC, ex-Notre Dame quarterback Brady Quinn and ex-USC quarterback Matt Leinart, Bush's former teammate.
This will not be Meyer's first foray into the world of television.
Meyer worked as an analyst for ESPN between his jobs at Florida and Ohio State. The stint was short-lived, however, as he came out of retirement the next offseason to take over at Ohio State. He won national championships after the 2006, 2008 and 2014 seasons. He began the season by serving a three-game suspension after reports surfaced that Meyer knew about allegations of domestic abuse by former Ohio State assistant coach Zach Smith, who was sacked before the 2018 season began when the allegations surfaced publicly. No matter what he's thinking, you know his name will be mentioned as a possibility for any major opening all season long. While ESPN's "College GameDay" has thrived on campuses, FOX's show initially will air from its Los Angeles studio.
According to the report, the show will air at 10 a.m. (11 a.m. ET) on Saturdays.
On Monday, FOX Sports announced its plans for the new show, which will be hosted by Rob Stone.
