Rosiane Santos, a Brazilian national, was taken into ICE custody Tuesday following her arrest last week for allegedly insulting and knocking the hat off a man who was dining with his friends at Casa Vallarta Mexican Restaurant.
Bryton Turner, 23, told police he was at the restaurant when Santos started yelling at him because he was wearing the iconic red hat made famous during Trump's presidential campaign. She can also be heard cursing him out and calling him stupid.
"Deportation officers with ICE's Fugitive Operations Team arrested Rosiane Santos, an unlawfully present citizen of Brazil, today near Falmouth, Massachusetts", the agency said in a statement. "Santos is now facing local charges of assault and other offenses".
The Howie Carr Show website reports that, after arresting Ms. Santos, Falmouth Police ran her fingerprints, contacted ICE and discovered she is in the country illegally.
