Samsung announces its reasonably priced Galaxy Tab S5e with Android 9 Pie

That hasn't stopped Samsung releasing some high-end models, though, and today sees the launch of its latest Android tablet: The Tab S5e. So, that begs the question: what does the Tab S5e lose compared to the Tab S4?
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e release date in the United States and United Kingdom is set for Q2 2019, with pre-orders from March 2019 - we'll update this article with information on availability in other regions when we know - in your choice of black, gold or silver. The "e" in the device's name stands for "essential", according to Samsung, and it sits in the middle of the company's lineup of tablets.
It has a 13MP primary camera on its back and an 8MP selfie camera.
On the plus side, there are four AKG-tuned speakers (one in each corner) with Dolby Atmos and the 7,040mAh battery is good for over 14 hours of video watching. Samsung says the speakers have auto rotate stereo technology that automatically determines if you are holding the tablet in portrait or landscape mode. Bixby 2.0 apparently offers "a smarter and more convenient way to interact with your device, and serves as an ideal hub to control your connected home device". Every purchase comes with a free 4-month subscription to YouTube Premium and a free 3-month subscription to Spotify Premium for new members only. There is no audio jack but there is a Type-C connector in the box.
There is also a fingerprint sensor on power button and I for one, love the fact that the industry has not given up on the most efficient and functional locking mechanism.
