The Detroit Pistons announced today that the team has acquired forward/center Thon Maker from the Milwaukee Bucks as part of a three-team deal which sent Pistons forward Stanley Johnson to the New Orleans Pelicans.
According to Wojnarowski, the Pistons are also involved in the trade but their return is not immediately clear. To be exact the Pelicans will receive second-round picks from the Bucks in 2019 (via Denver), two in 2020 (via Washington and Milwaukee) and 2021 (via Washington).
This season, Mirotic is averaging 16.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists for New Orleans.

Speaking of Johnson, his former squad, the Detroit Pistons, will reportedly get in on the fun, sending second-round picks to New Orleans.
In 35 games (no starts) this season with Milwaukee, Maker, 21, averaged 4.7 points and 2.7 rebounds while playing just 11 minutes per night.
This deal makes the Bucks extremely strong in the East and make them a very strong contender for the National Basketball Association title this season.
