The filing contains images that look more refined than the patent from last August and bear a closer resemblance to the RAZR V3.
Motorola's fabled Razr flip phone that was first released in 2004 is getting a 2019 makeover with a foldable display, according to The Wall Street Journal. The handset also features a notch at the top of the screen, which is clearly evident in the above image. It does not seem to house a selfie camera. Now, thanks to a recent patent document, discovered by 91 Mobiles, we might have seen the outline design of this clamshell, designed for the foldable smartphone era. The small screen can be used for checking notifications for calls and messages without opening the phone to see the main display. When opened, that small screen and camera move to the backside and you get a lengthy display inside.

The handset could be exclusively available in the US through Verizon Wireless with a price tag of $1,500.
