When reports of the 2018 iPad Pro bending started getting media attention, Apple was quick to dismiss the matter saying that certain units can ship with a slight bend. "For the first time ever on an iPad, these bands are manufactured using a process called co-molding", Apple says.
"In this high-temperature process, plastic is injected into precisely milled channels in the aluminum enclosure where it bonds to micro-pores in the aluminum surface", the support page reads. Once a device is made, there is an allowance "for no more than 400 microns of deviation across the length of any side - less than the thickness of four sheets of paper" from flawless flatness. The company went on to say that the new straight-edged design of the iPad Pro may make bends "more visible only from certain viewing angles", and won't affect the tablet's performance. Apple stated in December that these slight bends were not considered defects, and it's now gone a step further with a new support page detailing the manufacturing process.
In November some users on MacRumors forum reported seeing a bend from the mid-section of the device after normal usage, such as carrying a new iPad in a bag on a weekend trip. If you're shopping for a 2017 iPad Pro you can pick from silver, space grey, gold and rose gold, which might be one reason why you would prefer the older model over the newer one. Apple's Vice President of Hardware Engineering, Dan Riccio, also attempted to sweep the problem under the proverbial rug by claiming that the iPad Pro meets or exceeds all of the company's high quality standards. 400 microns is roughly the thickness of four sheets of paper, and when taking into account the tablet's new design, minor deviations can be much easier to notice than with previous models.

Representative Mark Meadows, a North Carolina Republican, has also suggested using that money or other discretionary fees. Donald Trump now holds the record for presiding over the longest US Government shutdown in history at 22 days.

Both the Tokyo Prosecutors Office and Nissan declined to comment on the issues when contacted by Reuters. Otsuru said his team was applying for bail to have Ghosn released.
Poland arrests Chinese businessman, Pole on spying charges
Huawei in December said it expects to see a 21 percent rise in revenue for 2018 despite what it called "unfair treatment" around the world.
And while Apple originally said this is a feature, not a bug, the firm now returns with a more detailed explanation on what exactly happens and why such a "subtle deviation" (Apple's very own words) shouldn't be worrying. After the plastic cools, the tablets are then machined to create a seamless integration between the aluminum and plastic. The company completely ignores evidence to the contrary, however, such as the video by JerryRigEverything that showed a 2018 iPad Pro bending like a paperback book with minimal pressure.
