The Cleveland Browns decision to fire head coach Hue Jackson this morning has left people scrambling to figure out what was the straw that broke the camel's back. Things got so ugly between the two that Jackson was actually asked about his relationship with Haley following the team's 33-18 loss to the Steelers on Sunday.
Defensive coordinator Gregg Williams will take over as interim head coach, and running backs/associate head coach Freddie Kitchens will replace Haley as offensive coordinator, according to the team's announcement. Sure he's been more tight-lipped as a rookie with the Browns, but said personality seemingly clashed with Jackson on the sideline. Haley was in his first season on Jackson's staff after spending the previous six in Pittsburgh.
Following Sunday's game, Jackson downplayed any dispute with his offensive coordinator.
