McDonald's Canada has announced that it is officially making some changes to their burgers.
As of yesterday, the fast food chain has announced that it will be going preservative-free with classics like the Quarter Pounder with Cheese and of course the infamous Big Mac.
Menu classics affected by the change in the USA include the Cheeseburger, the Quarter Pounder with Cheese and the Big Mac. (But not the pallid pickles, which still contain artificial preservatives.) "We do believe it's improving customers' perception of McDonald's", the company's U.S. President Chris Kempczinski said on a call with media.
Linda VanGosen, McDonald's vice-president of Menu Innovation added: "We understand that now more than ever, people care about their food - where it comes from, what goes into it and how it is prepared - and we are committed to make changes to our menu our guests feel good about".
