It seems at least some of their prayers have been answered, because Fillion is now the star of fan short based on the video game series Uncharted. Fillion, along with director Allan Ungar, has just released an absolutely awesome Uncharted fan movie that could potentially rival anything Sony actually has in the works.
Sony's official Uncharted film was last reported to be directed Shawn Levy and would feature Spider-Man: Homecoming star Tom Holland as a young Nathan Drake. This spirit continues once Drake escapes to a remote hillside, where he breaks down a further, treasure-related revelation with familiar series characters Sully (actor Stephen Lang from Avatar) and Elena (actress Mircea Monroe).
When the Naughty Dog video game dropped back in 2007, the physical similarities between Fillion and Drake were pretty apparent. Ungar revealed himself as a "passionate" fan of Uncharted according to Fillion, and after meeting with Ungar earlier this year, the team gathered in May to shoot and produce the 14-minute short film.

N. Korea, US hold talks on war dead repatriation

7-year-old hit, killed crossing I-94 in Romulus
The Michigan State Police are investigating after a 7-year-old child was hit and killed on I-94 in Romulus early Sunday Morning. It took officers from both departments about 15 to 20 minutes to connect the three incidents, Shaw said.
Fillion was equally as happy, explaining that a proper Uncharted film was something he had wanted to see - regardless of his own involvement for a "long time".
Fillion was thankful of Ungar for letting him scratch this itch, and also gave a shout out to Naughty Dog for creating the archetype.
What do you think of the fan-made film? If that project moves forward, and the screenplay calls for a flash-forward with an older Nathan Drake, we'd hope that the filmmakers know exactly who to call.
