According to TMZ, Tekashi 69 told law enforcement that at around 4:25am on Sunday, while he was sitting in the passenger seat of a Chevy Tahoe at an intersection in Brooklyn, a vehicle bumped them from behind.
Sources told TMZ the 22-year-old Brooklyn-born rapper, whose birth name is Daniel Hernandez, was driving home after working on a music video in Brooklyn when a auto pulled up and blocked his driveway.
Apparently, when he got to his house, another vehicle pulled in behind him and blocked his driveway - after which three hooded gunmen apparently got out of the auto, pistol whipped Tekashi69, and rendered him unconscious.
Sources revealed that 69 was able to escape, but after reporting the incident he was uncooperative and later checked himself into hospital.
However, in the version related by law enforcement sources, two men rammed his auto at a red light, grabbed Tekashi, and drove him to his home, where he called someone inside - the story supposes his girlfriend - who came down with the jewelry. They returned to his house, where one guarded him in the auto as the other two entered and stole the jewelry. Tekashi's partner and daughter were inside the house but were not hurt.
