Priyanka, the Tamil TV actress found dead

Popular Tamil television actor Priyanka allegedly committed suicide at her Valasaravakkam residence in Chennai on Wednesday morning. The body has been sent for post-mortem and investigation is on to find out why she took such an extreme step. She also played roles in other teleserials like Apoorva Ragangal, Bairavi, on Sun TV. The show ran for four years from 2013-2017. Priyanka's body was reportedly first seen by her maid, when she came to the house for her daily work.

Priyanka is well know face for Tamil TV audiences. Police have registered a case and are investigating. Priyanka had acted in several Tamil television serials, including "Vamsam" in which she acted alongside Ramya Krishnan of Baahubali- fame. The News Minute reports that in 2016, TV actor Sai Prashanth was found dead at his residence. The police said that he had consumed poison.
