"It has been established as a constitutional right for 45 years and was reaffirmed 26 years ago", Collins told ABC.
Collins added that Chief Justice John Roberts has stated in the past that he considers Roe v. Wade settled law.
Trump has said he will announce his Supreme Court nominee on July 9. The White House has also yet to announce who will shepherd the nominee through the Senate confirmation process, acting as the nominee's "sherpa".
"None of the people who are being talked about now in the public space in the media are people who have a clear position on Roe v. Wade", Leo said.
Collins said she also suggested to Trump "that he broaden his search beyond the list of 25 nominees" that he drew upon in the Gorsuch selection.
