18-year-old Arjun Tendulkar on Tuesday took his maiden wicket in Indian outfit while playing in the U19 Test between India and Sri Lanka at Colombo. India's wicketkeeper-captain Anuj Rawat chose to open the bowling with Tendulkar and right-arm fast bowler Akash Pande.After conceding a boundary from the fifth ball of his second over, Tendulkar finished it off in style.
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka U19 were bowled out for 244 in their first innings.
While his father was a diminutive right-handed batsman and leg-spinner, Arjun is a tall left-arm fast bowler and damaging left-handed batter in the lower order.

Tendulkar ended up bowling 11 overs and conceded 33 runs while picking up one wicket. At stumps on the first day, India U-19 were strongly placed at 92 for one.
