What a pleasant surprise. The sequel always has two yarn creatures on screen, with the ability to play in single player or co-op. You can play it solo, but this is a game that's played best in co-op, as we found when playing with Coldwood's Martin Sahlin. Original Story: In 2016, Electronic Arts announced that adorable puzzle-platformer Unravel was getting a sequel, but kept all the details close to its chest. Barely two years since its debut, Unravel 2 is on the way. Though the game started upbeat, it did take a darker turn towards the end. Unravel 2 is said to be more of a celebration of youth, which sounds pretty positive. Namely, no Unravel 2 for Nintendo Switch (as the console isn't listed as one of the platforms for launch) and possible cooperative play thanks to the game's description. I don't yet see it available for purchase on any of the digital storefronts as of this writing, but that will likely change later today.
