Cr Glasgow told The Courier-Mail he had done nothing wrong, insisting his behaviour was appropriate and that he had not brought the council into disrepute, nor breached the code of conduct.
In response to Cr Wellington's r ecommendation for Cr Glasgow to resign, he said the mayor was just "doing his job".
"It was just incredibly misogynistic, crude, and highly offensive behaviour that was being displayed by Councillor Glasgow on the show", he told ABC Sunshine Coast.
'I'm pretty time poor so I chose to go on TV and went into the experience with an open heart, ' he said.
As for Jess, he was extremely apologetic in a series of interviews this morning and said his hands hadn't stopped shaking since he saw the episode go to air last night.
Later in the episode, one of the male contestants said to Cr Glasgow that Ms Kent had asked to have a private conversation with him about his antics, to which Mr Glasgow said: "Bring it on b-tch".
