Per the department's Facebook page, "Ryder Skye Cambron left her home located at 20100 block of Indigo Lake Drive in Magnolia, Texas prior to 8 p.m. on September 17, 2019".
In a press release, the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office wrote that Ryder Skye Cambron "has been safely located in the area of 5080 Jackson Road, Montgomery, Texas".
Specialist Steve Squier said in a release issued by the department that Cambron had "left clues for her family to believe she had been abducted" by leaving the utility vehicle she had been seen driving in her neighborhood Tuesday night in the woods near a park, along with her cell phone.
'Ryder had been hiding at the residence in Dobbin with the 17-year-old male and two other adult males for approximately 28 hours'.
She also fled into a nearby wooded area after figuring out that detectives were searching for her.
Cambron was not injured, and she was released into the custody of her parents. She said she was not injured while she was staying in the home. This is still an active investigation as Detectives are looking into possible charges to anyone responsible for harboring a runaway. Before she was found, authorities said they had not ruled out anything and were treating her as a missing person.
