The novelties don't stop there, as OnePlus will launch its first Smart TV models this year, followed by a redesigned OnePlus 7T Pro.
OnePlus finally broke its long silence regarding its highly-anticipated OnePlus TV last week. Other markets including North America, Europe and China would receive the TV soon after.
As it turns out, the OnePlus TV will be sporting a 55-inch QLED display when it arrives next month.
Elsewhere on Twitter, OnePlus India also confirmed that the TV will feature Dolby Vision HDR. QLED may sound similar to OLED but the screen technology is quite different.Читайте также: Minnesota Wild will reportedly hire Bill Guerin as next general manager
QLEDs feature quantum dots on top of an LED panel that drastically improve the brightness and colour levels of QLED TVs. This is a term Samsung uses for its quantum dot TVs and it is the only brand which has a significant portfolio in the QLED segment.
"Previous leaks via the Bluetooth Launch Studio (which enumerates product listings approved for use with the tech) have included model numbers that indicate that we should see up to four distinct sizes: "43", 55", 65", and 75", though only the 55" size has been explicitly confirmed by OnePlus in today's teaser.
OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has stated that the OnePlus TV will optimise the Android experience to deliver a better user interface. The resolution is listed as 1080p, but that's likely for the menu, with the TV switching to 4K when required.
Update: Added information about OnePlus TV getting Dolby Vision. Now, the company itself has teased an interesting new aspect of the upcoming OnePlus TV launch. This is surprising as it was earlier known to be a 4K television. Interestingly, the tweet was posted on the OnePlus Twitter handle for India, which is rumored to be the first market for OnePlus TV.При любом использовании материалов сайта и дочерних проектов, гиперссылка на обязательна.
