The new characters were revealed during the Walt Disney Studios panel at Disney's D23 Expo on Saturday (August 24) in Anaheim, Calif. They also begged the question, "Is there such a thing as a "Happily Ever After"?
Two new songs from Frozen 2 were also played during the panel including "Into the Unknown" and "Some Things Never Change".
Buck went on to say, "There was one question people kept asking: Why does Elsa have powers?" while Jennifer Lee quipped, "Yeah, we were wondering that too". In Frozen 2, however, we will see Anna and Elsa's parents once again in flashbacks. Both Brown and Wood were present on-stage, revealing that they have not seen any footage from the upcoming sequel and were looking forward to a first-look.
