Sanders will make her first appearance during FOX & Friends' live audience show on Friday, Sept. 6.
It's hardly surprising that Sanders ended up at Fox after her tenure as White House press secretary.
Fox News, part of media mogul Rupert Murdoch's empire, signed former White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders as a contributor to provide political commentary and analysis across all of its outlets. But Sanders has considerably less credibility than previous press secretaries.
Huckabee Sanders has been weighing a run for governor of Arkansas. In Sanders' case (as with Sessions' spokesperson), they're using their White House experience to earn new positions in their field. In an interview with former Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigators, Sanders even admitted that she provided reporters with baseless information about the firing of former FBI Director James Comey. And in June, former deputy press secretary Raj Shah joined Fox Corp.as a senior vice president.Читайте также: Zelensky, Trudeau discuss Russian Federation over phone
The revolving door has also worked in the opposite direction. Trump, a strong proponent of Fox News, often takes to Twitter to complain about the network when its on-air personnel disagree with his actions or to laud those hosts who back him up. Shine exited the White House earlier this year.
Sanders joins fellow former White House Press Secretaries under Republican administrations who are now contributors at Fox News, namely Ari Fleischer and Dana Perino.
Some Fox personalities have also crossed over to the Trump orbit. Huckabee joked that his daughter - who is rumored to have aspirations of following in his footsteps as governor of Arkansas - would have "been voted off the island" had she taken a job with CNN.При любом использовании материалов сайта и дочерних проектов, гиперссылка на обязательна.
