The Galaxy Watch Active 2 may be taking another leaf out of Apple's book with Fall Detection. Previous reports about the Galaxy Watch Active 2 have suggested that there will be two dial sizes from the company - 44mm and 40mm size and neither will sport a rotating bezel ring. To take a measurement users simply need to rest a finger against the digital crown while wearing the watch. The report also claims that the upcoming Galaxy smartwatch will come with atrial fibrillation or Afib notifications that are said to check heart rhythm in the background. But Target is actually taking all those recent Apple Watch Series 4 deals to the next level by shaving a cool 100 bucks off a trio of cellular-enabled models.
Following a report that the Galaxy Watch Active 2 was in development, SamMobile followed up with some images of what the smartwatch would look like. We now have some more information about the wearable device, particularly about the new health-related features that it's going to offer.
"The most important is that just like the Galaxy Watch Active before it, the "Active" part can be a bit misleading". The data could then be shared with physicians for an expert opinion. Of course, this feature would likely require FDA clearance and approval from respective authorities in various countries. This feature was able to effectively detect AFib and possibly save the lives of a number of Apple Watch users.Читайте также: BMW CEO to step down in wake of disappointing earnings
The Apple Watch 5 remains one - if not = the most anticipated wearable this year as it's reportedly packed with health features that are useful for tracking an individuals' wellness. Again, it should work pretty much the same way as the Apple Watch 4: display an alert on the screen and nudge the user when it detects a hard fall.
No indication as yet about when we'll see the Galaxy Watch Active 2, but we could see the smartwatch debut alongside the Galaxy Note 10 on August 7.
Another potential life-saving feature that's coming to the Galaxy Watch Active 2 is fall detection. If the smartwatch doesn't get a response in a pre-determined period time, it will automatically call emergency services and also send messages to the user's emergency contacts.При любом использовании материалов сайта и дочерних проектов, гиперссылка на обязательна.
