"The last few moments she said, 'Come in here right now, in the bathroom.' I went in and she said, 'Look at me.' And I said, 'Yeah, you're freaking lovely baby.' [And she said, ] 'Look at me, Duane Chapman.' And I did, I always saw Beth and she said, 'Please, let me go'".
Beth and Dog Chapman have 12 children between them. "She feels Beth's spirit around her, the whole family feels Beth will always walk with them as their own angel, and that is a huge comfort for them all", the source says.
Chapman, a Denver native, died June 26 after a battle with cancer. "Beth isn't dead", he said, "she's sleeping".
Although he was prepared for the bad possibility of life without his partner, Dog said he refused to let Beth go in the final moments leading up to her death - until she gave him a devastating reality check. And decisions, I can't make them right now.
