Three hospital patients have died in an outbreak of listeria linked to pre-packed sandwiches.
The Manchester belief covers 5 hospitals - Manchester Royal Infirmary, Manchester Royal Gaze Sanatorium, Royal Manchester Formative years's Sanatorium, St Mary's Sanatorium and Wythenshawe Sanatorium.
The Good Food Company said it is "proud to be revolutionsing sandwiches for healthcare patients" and that its products are "designed around today's patients".
That firm subsequently produced a positive test result for the outbreak streak of listeria, and they - along with their distributor - have also ceased production for now. North Country Quality Foods has also voluntarily ceased production.

The cases linked to the incident all involve patients who were already seriously ill in hospitals in England.
A spokesman for North Country Cooked Meats said: "At this stage the company is now cooperating fully with the environmental health and the FSA in their investigations and a further statement will be issued in due course".
"Our sympathies are with the families of those patients who have tragically passed away", said Colin Sullivan, Chief Operating Officer at the UK's Food Standards Agency.
"Local authorities and the NHS have worked quickly to determine the likely cause of this outbreak and taken action to reduce the risk to the public's health".
"The FSA will continue to investigate how the outbreak occurred and if further steps are required to protect vulnerable groups", he added.
Listeriosis is a rare infection and for most people it goes unnoticed or there are mild symptoms of gastroenteritis that usually last a short time without the need for treatment, according to Public Health England.
