In his introductory video, Schofield says, "We're working together to build the studio from the ground up so we can begin crafting an original narrative experience in the PUBG universe".
The studio is now looking to hire more talent to start the development of this new project. Striking Distance is working on an unnamed PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds game. PUBG lost a bit of steam since 2018, as other battle royale games, like Fortnite and Apex Legends, launched and took over a sizable chunk of the market.
Striking Distance is a new studio that has appointed a new team for production led by Glen Schofield.
