Apple is planning to launching a 6.7-inch iPhone Xs Max successor next year, which would be the largest iPhone ever sold, iPhone Hacks reported. If Apple hadn't resolved its issues with Qualcomm, the company would've had to use Intel modems or develop its own.
Famed Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo is by far the most trusted source of Apple leaks and information, and today, he has come out with a new research note, obtained by MacRumors, where he mentions the future of the iPhone and when we can expect Apple to finally make the switch to 5G enabled smartphones.
Although Apple hasn't even released its 2019 iPhones yet, rumors about the 2020 iPhone lineup have already begun. According to Mr.Kuo, all 2020 iPhones will come with OLED screens, with two new sizes and 5G support making a debut. All three iPhones will have an OLED display, marking Apple's complete shift to OLED screen technology from LCD panels. But all three phones will sport OLED displays, and in 2021, all three models will support 5G.Читайте также: Ex-UEFA chief Michel Platini arrested in 2022 World Cup probe
"Apple's 5G iPhone strategy became more aggressive after the USA export ban on Huawei", Kuo wrote in his latest note.
According to Ming-Chi Kuo, the two 2020 iPhones with 5G will adopt Qualcomm modems as Apple's upcoming in-house 5G modem isn't coming before 2022.
This means Apple will finally address the needs of the fans who've been clamoring for a smaller premium iPhone - the current iPhone XS has a 5.8-inch display and weighs almost 180g.При любом использовании материалов сайта и дочерних проектов, гиперссылка на обязательна.
