The UN condemned Sunday bombings by suspected Boko Haram insurgents that killed at least 30 people in attacks in Konduga town in northeast Borno state.
On Saturday, June 15, Boko Haram terrorists attacked another troops' location in Damasak, Borno State, during which an unconfirmed number of soldiers were injured.
The blast took place outside a hall as a group of people gathered to watch television.

"There was a heated argument between the operator and the bomber who blew himself up", he said. In July 2018, eight people were killed after a suicide bomber detonated explosives in a mosque.

Konduga has been repeatedly targeted by suicide bombers from a Boko Haram faction loyal to longtime leader Abubakar Shekau.
At least 27,000 lives have been killed and about two million people have been forced to flee their homes in the decade-long conflict. There is rising concern of insecurity in other parts of the country. Most of the people who died were from the viewing center.
The Nigerian government says the Boko Haram insurgency, and the rival Islamic State West Africa Province group, have been largely defeated, but they continue to launch attacks on civilian and military targets.
