The fallout began when Google following Trump's order, cut off support to Huawei in recent days for many Android hardware and software services.
"(It) will not make the United States more secure or stronger; instead, this will only serve to limit the USA to inferior yet more expensive alternatives, leaving the U.S. lagging behind in 5G deployment, and eventually harming the interests of United States companies and consumers", Huawei said in a statement.
You can't cripple the world's second-largest smartphone maker without some kind of justifiable cause, and the extraordinary moves made against Huawei in the past week require extraordinary proof.
US prosecutors in January indicted Huawei on 10 counts including trade theft, fraud and obstruction of justice.
Google's move blocked any future software updates to Huawei's Android devices.
