The Cavaliers went back to college to get a coach.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have hired MI basketball's John Beilein as the team's next head coach, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported.
The 66-year-old Beilein does not have pro experience but he's long regarded as one of college hoops' best minds.

Fedor and Kahn provided insight into Beilein, the Cavaliers and the coach's time at MI, where he reached the Sweet 16 five times and made two appearances in national championship games over almost 12 years with the Wolverines. He had talks with the Detroit Pistons a year ago when they were in the market for a new coach, but he said he was never offered that job.
According to Wojnarowski, Beilein reached a deal Sunday and informed the team of his decision to leave on Monday morning.
Beilein replaces Larry Drew, who steered the team through countless injuries and other challenges as the Cavs finished 19-63. Cleveland's rebuild status, with point guard Collin Sexton and a 14 percent chance - along with NY and Phoenix - to earn the No. 1 pick in Tuesday's National Basketball Association draft lottery appealed to Beilein.При любом использовании материалов сайта и дочерних проектов, гиперссылка на обязательна.
