Concerns for the round of storms includes flash flooding as areas are still seeing ponding on roads and creeks and ponds overflowing in some cities. Some of these storms could be strong to severe with damaging wind, lightning, and heavy downpours. Isolated flash flooding can not be ruled out. After capturing a tornado in Nebraska Friday, their sights are set on the Southern Plains Monday.
On Sunday, the storm system is expected to continue east, targeting Midwest states such as Illinois, Indiana and MI.
