Update: Following this morning's report that SWAMP THING has halted production and will now be ten episodes as opposed to its original thirteen, a teaser for DC Universe's swamp-tastic series has risen from the boggy depths.
Still, if the plug were to be pulled on DC Universe, it wouldn't be insane to think the aforementioned shows could be moved to WarnerMedia's gestating streaming service with AT&T instead.

Star-News goes further, saying that the "currently in-production project is being shut down earlier than expected as its producer, Warner Bros., evaluates the future of its DC Universe streaming service".
Since DC Universe launched in October, it is outpacing expectations, according to /Film's sources. But whether the series we eventually see represents the full vision for what Swamp Thing was meant to be is up for debate. The services' DC Comics portion - subscribers get access to digital comics as well as streaming programming - has also been growing from strength to strength, with it just being announced last week that DC's entire Golden, Silver, and Bronze Age library of comics (around 2700 titles) would be added. According to the local setup, the writers of SWAMP THING have been tasked with re-writing the show's finale as the series plans to mulch their original 13-episode order to just 10 chapters of the upcoming Swampy saga.
What makes this Swamp Thing situation different is the way one of its stars reacted on social media.
Aquaman director James Wan will serve as an executive producer on the series alongside Mark Verheiden, Gary Dauberman, Michael Clear, and Len Wiseman.
For now, enjoy the first look at Swamp Thing, and get ready for the premiere on May 31.
